Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve test automation strategies for complex enterprise environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Tricentis Tosca, Playwright, and Selenium.
- Plan, execute, analyze, and report on automated test runs using KPI-based evaluation.
- Ensure application testability and resolve automation challenges in collaboration with development and architecture teams.
- Create modular, maintainable model-based and keyword-driven test cases.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD toolchains and pipelines such as GitLab and Azure DevOps.
- Support end-to-end testing covering GUI, APIs, and data validation.
- Analyze and prioritize defects and collaborate with development teams on resolution.
- Contribute to QA processes and test automation best practices.
Requirements
- Completed technical education through HTL, a university of applied sciences, university, or comparable qualification, preferably in computer science or software engineering.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in test automation.
- Practical experience with Tosca test case design, execution, and maintenance, with Tosca Product Consultant certification desirable.
- Experience with test data management, test framework design, and load or performance testing.
- Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD environments and using scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell.
- Additional knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript is desirable.
- Experience with REST, JSON, SOAP, and SQL database queries is advantageous.
- ISTQB Foundation Level certification is required, while Advanced Level certification is advantageous.
- Very good German skills at least at B2 level and English skills.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with international teams.
