Base Salary
$108k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Research and acquire publicly available geospatial data from open-source websites.
- Develop automated data extraction solutions using Python and other programming languages.
- Transform and format data for geospatial applications and ingest it into ESRI-based web applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain geospatial dashboards and web-based geospatial solutions.
- Collect, analyze, synthesize, and summarize qualitative and quantitative information into actionable intelligence products.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, documentation, and alignment with customer mission priorities.
- Collaborate with government personnel, contractors, supervisors, and customer stakeholders to communicate findings and address information gaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 8–12 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 6–10 years of relevant experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and U.S. citizenship are required.
- Demonstrated experience with ESRI ArcGIS, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Server.
- Experience with AWS web development, deployment, security best practices, and S3 ingest processing.
- Strong experience with PostgreSQL features and capabilities.
- Knowledge of digital cartography, geographic information systems, geospatial production techniques, and digital data formats.
- Experience with web scraping tools and advanced internet search techniques.
- Preferred experience with Python, SQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, QGIS, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
- Preferred experience supporting Open Source Enterprise environments and coordinating with multiple offices and agencies.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, prioritization, and collaboration skills.
