Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end applications across front-end, backend, API, AI, and data layers.
- Build responsive and accessible React user experiences and scalable Python, FastAPI/asynchronous Python, and Java backend services and APIs.
- Develop LLM-powered and agentic AI applications using LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, or comparable frameworks.
- Design RAG solutions using embeddings, vector or hybrid search, and enterprise knowledge sources.
- Build data ingestion pipelines and process large datasets using Azure Databricks and Delta Tables.
- Develop cloud-native applications using AKS/Kubernetes, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, MongoDB/Cosmos DB, and vector databases.
- Maintain automated build, integration, and deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions.
- Apply testing, code review, observability, security, performance, and reliability practices; troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Collaborate with product, design, QA, engineering, and business stakeholders, contribute to architecture decisions, and independently own deliverables.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience with strong backend and full-stack development expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Java, React, FastAPI or asynchronous Python frameworks, and backend API development.
- Experience building LLM-based or agentic AI solutions with LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, or comparable frameworks.
- Experience developing RAG solutions involving embeddings, vector or hybrid search, and enterprise data sources.
- Data engineering experience with Azure Databricks, data ingestion pipelines, Delta Tables, and large datasets.
- Experience with AKS/Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, MongoDB/Cosmos DB, and vector databases.
- Strong understanding of application security, including authentication, authorization, input validation, and data protection.
- Strong communication, collaboration, independent ownership, and technical trade-off explanation skills.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred but not required.
- Preferred experience includes Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, intelligent document processing, OCR, document extraction, classification, data validation, Model Context Protocol, tool calling, and AI integration patterns.
