Responsibilities
- Design, code, and enhance custom software solutions across systems and applications.
- Develop efficient, maintainable, and scalable data-processing pipelines using PySpark.
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues in large-scale distributed data-processing tasks.
- Integrate PySpark applications within cloud environments.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and contribute to decisions across multiple teams.
- Lead best-practice initiatives to improve team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross-functional communication.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience with PySpark.
- Proficiency in PySpark is required.
- Strong knowledge of distributed computing concepts and big data processing frameworks.
- Experience developing scalable data-processing code.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and integrating PySpark applications in cloud environments.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Fifteen years of full-time education is required.
