Responsibilities
- Lead code contributions within an Agile team and deliver sprint goals.
- Design, document, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using modern technologies and design patterns.
- Build horizontally scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low-latency applications.
- Integrate application development expertise with broader technology functions to achieve established goals.
- Manage or influence team resources, budgets, planning, risk, compliance, and accountability.
- Apply software engineering practices including unit testing, automation, design patterns, peer review, and iterative delivery.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or Developer using Java and related backend technologies.
- Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, SQL, Hibernate, and JPA.
- Clear understanding of data structures and object-oriented principles using Java.
- Experience developing scalable, highly available, highly resilient, and low-latency applications.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile or iterative software delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Cloud-native development, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, serverless technologies, cloud infrastructure, event-driven architecture, API management, observability, monitoring, and Angular or React experience are preferred or advantageous.
