Responsibilities
- Apply engineering principles to solve complex software problems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine feature requirements.
- Develop, evaluate, and optimize AI/ML and LLM-powered products and platforms.
- Contribute to model integration, retrieval systems, inference services, evaluation frameworks, or scalable AI infrastructure.
- Learn and apply new engineering methods and industry best practices.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, performance, monitoring, and operations at scale.
- Complete software projects collaboratively and manage time effectively.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field, with at least one semester or term remaining after the internship, or currently pursuing a master's degree under the same conditions.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of programming experience.
- Preferred: at least 6 months of experience delivering projects in teams.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience developing and applying data structures and algorithms.
- Coursework, projects, or prior experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or data science is preferred.
- Experience with Python and familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar ML frameworks is preferred.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts, model evaluation, retrieval systems, large language models, or prompt engineering is preferred.
- Familiarity with APIs, cloud services, distributed computing, search and ranking, RAG architectures, or performance optimization is preferred.
