Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Spring Boot connectors for third-party controls vendor systems.
- Integrate connectors into a scalable, resilient, and maintainable microservices ecosystem.
- Collaborate with architects and developers on enterprise frameworks, coding standards, and implementation practices.
- Participate in PI planning and Agile ceremonies, including standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Write clean, testable, efficient code and troubleshoot integration, performance, and interoperability issues.
- Document connector services and integration points.
- Work with QA engineers on unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Stay current with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and related development practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in Java or a similar technology stack.
- 5+ years of hands-on Spring Boot and related Spring project development experience or similar technology stack experience.
- Strong knowledge of messaging patterns such as Kafka or RabbitMQ and microservices architecture.
- Experience developing integrations and connectors for external or vendor systems.
- Familiarity with Agile and SAFe methodologies, including PI planning.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and test automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization and orchestration platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred: experience with warehouse automation, controls integration, logistics software, Camunda, orchestration engines, workflow-driven architectures, or front-end integration using React, Angular, or Vue.
