Responsibilities

Lead technical delivery on client projects and establish standards for quality and performance.
Design and implement robust kdb+ architectures that scale to billions of rows of time-series data.
Collaborate with quants, traders, and analysts to translate business needs into performant code.
Develop, test, support, and maintain client applications across the full development lifecycle.
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers.
Drive innovation in kdb+/q and adjacent technologies.

At least 5 years of hands-on kdb+ development experience with deep expertise in q and time-series data.
Proven experience designing, implementing, and scaling kdb+ systems in production.
Strong background in Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
Demonstrated technical leadership and decision-making in fast-paced projects.
Excellent communication skills for explaining complex systems to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in capital markets or investment banking.
Bonus qualifications include Python, AWS, GCP, Azure, other time-series databases, tick data, real-time analytics, electronic trading systems, and people or team leadership experience.
