Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, enhance, modify, debug, and integrate complex software systems based on documented requirements.
- Design and implement software, algorithms, database interfaces, queries, and control-system solutions to meet performance and functional requirements.
- Program PLCs, data acquisition systems, control systems, and time synchronization interfaces.
- Test software components, execute or assist with test procedures, document results, and resolve reported software problems.
- Analyze requirements and system performance, contribute to software and system design, and evaluate hardware/software trade-offs and software reuse.
- Write or review software and system documentation and recommend improvements to development standards and processes.
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities in office, industrial, and outdoor environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university.
- At least 10 years of software programming experience in complex engineering environments.
- Experience with FactoryTalk, LabVIEW, and Studio 5000.
- Experience programming Programmable Logic Controllers, data acquisition systems, control systems, and time synchronization across different interfaces.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required to obtain the clearance.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- Preferred: familiarity with U.S. Navy weapons-system software and experience using Interface Control Documents and software requirements documents.
