Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex data-centric solutions, including large-dataset verification, transformation, and feature generation.
- Ensure continuous, high-quality data inputs for machine learning model development.
- Design and implement model delivery systems and strategies for deploying and hosting ML models.
- Manage and monitor deployed models, including potential fast or real-time inference systems.
- Perform functional and process design, prototyping, testing, training, and definition of support procedures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to source data, establish requirements, and define success criteria.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in a STEM field, or equivalent experience in a data scientist or closely related role.
- Industry experience applying machine learning at scale.
- Extensive knowledge of production infrastructure and ML model pipelines, including MLOps.
- Experience with several areas including classification, regression, pattern recognition, recommendation systems, targeting systems, and ranking systems.
- Experience with Python or other relevant programming languages and machine learning frameworks.
- Deep knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, and algorithms.
- Interest in performance optimization and experience working with advanced engineering teams.
- Strong business acumen and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices; a software engineering background is a bonus.
- Published articles or papers are desirable.
- Experience with machine learning competitions such as Kaggle and digital programmatic advertising is desirable.
