Responsibilities
- Configure Elasticsearch pipelines to ingest and enrich security data, primarily from Kafka.
- Design and implement SIEM solutions with security analysts and architects.
- Optimize SIEM rules, alerts, dashboards, queries, and infrastructure performance for threat detection.
- Contribute to security engineering projects, transitions, and transformations.
- Collaborate with security operations and security incident response systems while monitoring emerging threats and security practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software engineering roles.
- Experience with some of scripting, Kubernetes, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Kafka, ArgoCD, GitLab pipelines, YAML, Helm, Ansible, and basic networking.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, willingness to learn new technologies, and attention to detail.
- Desirable experience includes SIEM detection engineering, log source onboarding and normalization, Linux, Windows and network administration, cloud services, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
