Base Salary

$175k - $225k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver vertical AI agent workflows for Sales and Health use cases, including tool orchestration, memory, and multi-step reasoning.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable backend and service capabilities.
  • Design and implement production-ready architectures with high availability, low latency, and scalability.
  • Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, and reliability foundations for consumer and enterprise deployments.
  • Contribute to agent evaluation frameworks, automated testing, and quality benchmarking.
  • Partner with Applied AI and Product teams to create closed-loop improvements using real-world production data.
  • Collaborate with Product, Applied AI, and go-to-market teams on enterprise proofs of concept and consumer-facing features.
  • Drive modularization and reusability to accelerate expansion into additional verticals.
  • Use AI coding assistants, automated test generation, and debugging tools to improve engineering efficiency while maintaining quality.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of hands-on software engineering experience with end-to-end ownership of critical components.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language, such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
  • Experience building scalable online services with API design, asynchronous workflows, and microservice architectures.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems fundamentals, including databases, caching, messaging systems, and performance optimization.
  • Experience delivering production systems with a focus on reliability, latency, and scalability.
  • Knowledge of observability practices including logging, monitoring, alerting, and tracing.
  • Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and disciplined code review.
  • Strong interest in LLM applications, AI agents, or workflow automation and the ability to productize them.
  • Understanding of AI system evaluation, safety, and production feedback loops.
  • Ability to collaborate with Product, Applied AI, and go-to-market teams and execute effectively under ambiguity.
