Base Salary
$178k - $313k/yr
Responsibilities
- Conceive, prototype, and iterate new products and mobile experiences.
- Build functional prototypes quickly to validate new ideas.
- Create internal tooling and systems that improve how teams across Snap work.
- Prototype experiences for mobile, web, AR, and AI platforms.
- Partner with design, research, product management, and engineering teams to refine and ship products.
- Drive product strategy and design decisions and present ideas to the CEO and company leadership.
- Lead cross-functional teams in polishing and refining end products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent years of experience.
- At least 6 years of post-bachelor’s software development experience, or a master’s degree plus 5 years of post-graduate software development experience, or a PhD plus 2 years of post-graduate software development experience.
- Experience with iOS application development using Objective-C and/or Swift.
- At least 3 years of experience driving product strategy and/or design decisions.
- Knowledge of iOS software engineering principles and the ability to rapidly prototype fully functional mobile experiences.
- Proficiency with design and rapid prototyping software such as AI, Figma, Sketch, Framer, Origami, or Principle is preferred.
- A portfolio demonstrating design work and strong mobile design skills is preferred.
- Expertise or experience in areas such as hardware, AI, 3D graphics, or HCI is preferred.
