Responsibilities

Build and maintain backend services for GoodData.AI’s composable analytical stack.
Develop modular microservices supporting data orchestration, integration, and processing.
Design and implement scalable distributed systems and high-performance data-processing solutions.
Contribute to performance-critical services using Rust and deploy services on Kubernetes.
Influence technical solutions, software architecture, best practices, and internal and external API design.
Take end-to-end ownership of projects while collaborating with product, architecture, and QA teams.

Strong background in computer science.
Experience with object-oriented programming.
Interest in clean software architecture and passion for distributed systems and data processing.
Strong focus on technical excellence and quality of delivered solutions.
Good spoken and written English proficiency.
Strong sense of ownership, initiative, openness to feedback, and willingness to learn new technologies.
Nice to have working knowledge of Apache Arrow and other open-source data technologies.
Nice to have experience with Python and Kotlin.
