Responsibilities
- Architect and lead large-scale machine learning platforms and services for model training, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Partner with Data Science, Applied Science, and Product teams to productionize reliable, performant, and compliant ML models.
- Define and implement practices for model versioning, automated retraining, monitoring, and ML delivery workflows.
- Lead technical decisions and platform evolution focused on scalability, security, and maintainability.
- Optimize inference systems for real-time and batch applications across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Advise leadership and engineering teams on architecture and ML infrastructure investments.
- Mentor senior engineers and contribute to organization-wide technical capability building.
- Evaluate new technologies and frameworks to advance the ML engineering roadmap.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in software or machine learning engineering, with significant leadership and architecture experience.
- Proven experience building and scaling machine learning systems in production.
- Deep proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Expertise in distributed systems, AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of MLOps tools, model performance monitoring, and continuous delivery of ML solutions.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and influencing cross-functional architecture strategies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
