Responsibilities
- Define, architect, analyze, and develop functional safety software for GPUs, DLAs, and other Tegra compute engines.
- Design and modify complex software to meet standards for deployment in critical automotive sectors and support safety certification.
- Contribute to proprietary and open computing standards and next-generation GPU and DLA development with architecture and hardware engineers.
- Promote high-quality software development practices and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of experience in complex software development, design, and analysis.
- Understanding of computer architecture and operating systems fundamentals.
- Strong software engineering, teamwork, self-motivation, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience with parallel programming using CUDA, OpenCL, or Renderscript; deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or ONNX; specialized hardware such as DLA, NPU, ISP, or DSP; safety-critical software; software audits; and safety analyses such as FMEA, FTA, ETA, HAZOP, DFA, coexistence analysis, or freedom-from-interference analysis.
