Base Salary
$76k - $103k/yr
Responsibilities
- Document assigned business requirements and participate in requirements elicitation.
- Facilitate application design discussions and document design decisions.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain application features using Java and related technologies.
- Conduct code reviews, modify code, and maintain code repositories.
- Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
- Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks.
- Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve reliability.
- Maintain records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
Requirements
- Experience with Core Java concepts including object-oriented programming, collections, streams, concurrency, and exception handling.
- Experience designing microservices and REST APIs, including inter-service communication, resilience patterns, pagination, and error handling.
- Experience with Java/J2EE and Spring, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or qualifying progressive experience in lieu of education.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, SQL, unit testing, and CI/CD.
- Strong communication, collaboration, requirements translation, software integration, testing, troubleshooting, and hands-on coding skills.
