Responsibilities
- Own manual and automated testing across the software development lifecycle for web and mobile applications.
- Expand automated test coverage within an agile product team.
- Drive continuous improvement through proofs of concept, QA processes, tools, and best practices.
- Investigate user-reported issues, perform hands-on technical testing, and create, manage, and track bug reports.
- Build product and domain knowledge while supporting engineers and promoting shared responsibility for quality.
- Prioritise work, manage risks, and escalate issues in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Experience testing web and mobile applications through functional, regression, performance, exploratory, manual, and automated testing.
- Understanding of end-to-end impact, risk, dependencies, and pragmatic bug prioritisation for QA strategy.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Postman, RestSharp, xUnit, or NUnit, plus REST API testing.
- Proficiency in C# or similar object-oriented languages and JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Solid SQL Server querying and scripting skills.
- Experience working in CI/CD environments and implementing continuous testing practices across multiple teams.
- Detail-oriented, methodical, proactive, and capable of problem-solving, exploratory testing, and taking initiative.
