Responsibilities
- Design and develop test automation scripts and frameworks under senior guidance.
- Contribute to automated test planning and execution for projects.
- Apply analytical and technical skills to support defect prevention and early detection.
- Explore AI-driven testing approaches such as intelligent test generation.
- Create test suites and traceability matrices and support test walkthroughs with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain and optimize automation scripts for Core Banking and Specialized applications.
- Partner with IT and business teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript and a solid understanding of software development principles.
- Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, Cucumber, RestAssured, Robot Framework, and TestNG.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of software testing concepts, test case design, API and microservices testing, and non-functional testing including performance and security testing.
- An analytical mindset focused on optimizing testing processes through automation.
- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum as a Quality Engineer or SDET is preferred.
- Coursework or projects involving AI-driven testing, BDD, or microservices architectures are preferred.
