Responsibilities
- Design scalable, customer-centric POS solutions by working with sales and product teams to understand client needs.
- Lead advanced product demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to customer use cases.
- Lead or support technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, and customer proposals.
- Provide competitive and market insights related to payments, POS, and emerging technologies.
- Advise Sales teams by translating customer requirements into detailed solution blueprints.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Implementation, and Customer Support to ensure solution feasibility and smooth post-sales transitions.
- Engage customers onsite and virtually through discovery workshops, feedback gathering, and solution architecture guidance.
Requirements
- Require 5–8 years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical pre-sales within fintech, POS, or payment processing.
- Require proficiency with POS systems, payment processing flows, API integrations, and enterprise solution design.
- Require strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Require project coordination, problem-solving, technical presentation, and product demonstration skills.
- Require familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, demo environments, and proposal platforms.
- Preferred qualifications include certifications in pre-sales methodologies or POS systems, such as Certified Solutions Engineer, PMP, or ITIL.
