Responsibilities
- Design and develop solutions within the SAP ECC enterprise platform across SAP modules.
- Develop SAP systems supporting Pratt & Whitney Canada’s global networks.
- Write technical specifications based on functional specifications.
- Validate solutions against functional specifications.
- Deploy solutions and transition them to operational status.
- Perform development according to Pratt & Whitney Canada’s operational standards.
- Coordinate work and specifications with Global Workshare developers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years of experience as a senior developer.
- Knowledge of SAP Basis and SAP Security activities.
- Experience implementing SAP projects with ABAP systems.
- Experience with SAP PI/PO, NetWeaver ABAP and Java, ABAP development and debugging, SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and SAP HANA.
- Knowledge of HANA CDS views.
- Very good English proficiency for reading technical documentation and communicating with international customers, suppliers, and colleagues in a French-speaking work environment.
- Preferred: basic project management skills and Microsoft Office experience.
- Preferred: knowledge of business process design, SAP ECC configuration, SAP security concepts, SAP web development, and one to three functional SAP modules.
- Preferred: application development with SAP BTP, CAP, RAP, and Integration Suite.
- Preferred: experience with RPA, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud deployment, SAP Portal, IBP, FSM, Ariba, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Preferred: knowledge of newer SAP development techniques, ABAP extensions, native HANA applications, RESTful services, microservices, and mobile development with S/4HANA and BW/4HANA.
- SAP certification and familiarity with export compliance regulations are assets.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check and required controlled-goods clearances is required.
