Base Salary
$182k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end development of ML models for Uber Freight Marketplace.
- Develop models for cost prediction, booking probability, demand elasticity, and related marketplace problems.
- Apply predictive modeling, causal inference, constrained optimization, reinforcement learning, and marketplace optimization techniques.
- Partner with backend engineers to deploy models into production and validate their performance.
- Adapt ML models to evolving business and marketplace requirements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing ML models to solve business problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with modern AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Product experience is preferred.
- Experience with state-of-the-art marketplace technology is preferred.
- Experience with causal inference and constrained optimization is preferred.
