Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Build and operationalize complex data solutions, apply transformations, resolve problems, and recommend data cleansing and quality improvements.
- Design data solutions, incorporate new data sources, and ensure consistency with enterprise data strategies.
- Analyze complex data sources to determine their value and suitability for analytical processes.
- Apply data governance, data security, and data quality practices.
- Serve as a data and technology subject matter expert, support business delivery, and educate users on data products and analytics environments.
- Perform complex data and system analysis and resolve high-complexity defects and incidents.
- Collaborate across teams, monitor the health and production readiness of work efforts, and guide team members’ growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and/or work experience.
- At least six additional years of data engineering experience; the posting also describes ten years of related experience for the ideal candidate.
- Advanced knowledge of ETL tools such as Ab Initio and Databricks, AWS cloud platforms, Python, SQL, and modern data engineering practices.
- Ability to determine software design strategies, use automated tests and analysis, and provide informed feedback to ensure production readiness.
- Demonstrated domain expertise, business partnership skills, ability to influence priorities, and awareness of relevant industry trends.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including using data and proofs of concept to address complex problems and optimize solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts, documenting initiatives, and listening effectively.
- Ability to lead, take initiative in ambiguous situations, motivate others, and influence team members.
