Responsibilities

  • Design, build, test, and deploy services for a global cross-asset trade processing platform.
  • Develop services for the capture, persistence, distribution, and real-time delivery of trades and related data.
  • Use Nomura DevOps services to deploy applications to non-production and production environments.
  • Provide system support beyond first-level support and maintain existing Global Markets trade processing systems.
  • Coordinate with other Global Markets technology teams to develop comprehensive capabilities across applications.

Requirements

  • Strong Java development skills and an understanding of testing and DevOps in the development cycle.
  • Understanding of distributed messaging technologies, ideally including JMS, Apache Pulsar, or Solace.
  • Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, and Project Reactor/Spring WebFlux is ideal.
  • JavaScript/React and/or Python skills are beneficial.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global team across multiple time zones, with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of AI is useful for future development workflows and Trade Processing integrations.
