Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own the agentic platform from research prototype to production.
- Build the orchestration layer for long-running, multi-stage scientific workflows.
- Define SDK abstractions and API contracts to decouple model iteration from product stability.
- Deliver infrastructure-as-code reference implementations and transform AI proof-of-concepts into reusable patterns.
- Ensure platform cost-efficiency and scalability while maintaining performance and accuracy.
- Explore agent design patterns and set technical standards for the platform.
- Collaborate across teams to align on integration points and mentor engineers and scientists.
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 10+ years of software development experience.
- Proven experience architecting and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
- Deep expertise in workflow orchestration and event-driven architecture.
- Strong cloud-native engineering skills on AWS with infrastructure-as-code and containerization.
- Ability to transition systems from prototype to operational excellence.
- Experience designing SDKs, APIs, and data contracts for multiple teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build consensus.
- Collaborative working style with a focus on understanding team needs.
- Track record of setting technical strategy and mentoring engineers.
