Base Salary
$180k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the Infrastructure roadmap as a product owner, prioritizing projects based on firm needs and scaling requirements.
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS foundations, cloud networking, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps workflows, Dagster control-plane infrastructure, Snowflake infrastructure, security, identity, secrets, disaster recovery, cost planning, capacity planning, and remote access.
- Build reliable production infrastructure and self-service tooling for internal engineers.
- Automate recurring work, maintain high standards for reliability and security, and communicate technical rationale and tradeoffs to internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Platform Team, Market Teams, Investment Engineering, and Internal Team to remove systems barriers and scale production solutions.
- Participate in a five-person on-call rotation and resolve infrastructure and data-pipeline issues.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ownership of infrastructure work, including the ability to define and drive a roadmap rather than execute only pre-scoped tickets.
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining production Kubernetes environments such as EKS and Terraform.
- Experience with GitOps workflows such as Flux and Atlantis.
- Deep Docker expertise sufficient to debug container problems through operating-system and network layers.
- Experience with cloud networking, secrets, certificates, and secure service-to-service connectivity.
- Experience building self-service tooling for engineers and prioritizing reliable, appropriately scaled solutions.
- Ability to work effectively with technical internal users, explain infrastructure decisions, and surface tradeoffs.
- Preferred experience with workflow orchestration infrastructure, Snowflake and RDS infrastructure, Karpenter, Python, multi-region or multi-provider disaster recovery design, and externally issued credentials and certificates.
