Base Salary
$100k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute front-end, API, integration, functional, regression, exploratory, negative, and risk-based test cases.
- Own quality for assigned features from requirements through production readiness, including test strategy, automation, defect management, and release-risk communication.
- Plan test coverage, identify critical scenarios and edge cases, and determine regression coverage across releases.
- Support system integration testing and continuous delivery workflows.
- Identify automation opportunities and contribute to test automation frameworks or scripting.
- Review requirements, design discussions, acceptance criteria, test cases, and automation for testability gaps and risks.
- Collaborate with product, developers, and QA team members to resolve issues.
- Review other engineers’ test work, share best practices, and mentor junior QA engineers.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of experience in manual and automated testing.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, and testing best practices.
- Experience with test management tools such as JIRA and with functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Experience with automation frameworks or scripting.
- Experience with MongoDB, AWS, and Elasticsearch is highly desirable.
- Prior experience with FedRAMP, secure testing practices, or government projects is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, independent-working, and problem-solving abilities.
- Must work in the United States and be authorized to work in the U.S. as a U.S. citizen.
