Base Salary
$94k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, develop, and maintain applications and databases for a GIS Enterprise.
- Design and implement user interface systems and integrate disparate data sources.
- Establish APIs and construct frameworks that enable AI/ML functions.
- Integrate ML models into user applications and platforms.
- Create custom tools and distributed processes for large datasets.
- Manage and work with static, dynamic, and streaming geospatial data.
- Recommend technologies that improve the presentation and use of enterprise GIS products.
- Provide integrated systems planning, troubleshoot technical issues, and develop software solutions for process improvements.
- Collaborate with users and technical teams while communicating effectively through oral and technical writing.
- Direct subordinates and complete assigned work within required deadlines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering and eight years of progressive experience designing, developing, and modifying user interfaces and applications.
- Alternatively, 12 years of progressive related experience may substitute for the degree.
- Experience engineering UI and applications in support of AI/ML strategies for the DoD or Intelligence Community.
- Experience creating and developing custom tools and distributed processes for large datasets.
- Expert-level ability to work with static and dynamic streaming geospatial data.
- Proficiency in at least two scripting or programming languages, including HTML, JavaScript, Python, C#, or C++.
- TS/SCI clearance eligibility.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to effectively direct subordinates.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate certification under DODD 8570.01, including Security+.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering plus three additional years of general experience in intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems.
