Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications.
- Build full-stack solutions using modern front-end frameworks, responsive web technologies, back-end services, and APIs.
- Develop, package, and deploy containerized applications using container orchestration platforms.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including data modeling, query optimization, and ORMs.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Evaluate architecture and operating environments, identify system improvements, and plan future functionality.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and perform root-cause analysis for software systems.
- Help clients solve complex challenges and deliver production-ready software.
- Complete the required Booz Allen skills assessment and meet the minimum proficiency threshold.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, including designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications.
- Experience with modern compiled and interpreted programming languages.
- Experience with front-end development using a modern web stack and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, plus HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
- Experience with back-end services and APIs using technologies such as Spring Boot, .NET, Node.js, Django, gin-gonic, gofiber, or FastAPI.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or ECS.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, data modeling, query optimization, and ORMs.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, microservices architecture, secure coding practices, debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Secret clearance and eligibility for access to classified information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a technology field, or 8+ years of professional experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Helm, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, or Splunk.
- Preferred experience with Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, vitest, JUnit, or pytest.
- Preferred experience with DevSecOps, SAST/DAST, vulnerability remediation, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, Redis, Memcached, API gateways, RAG, vector databases, embedding models, and LLM APIs or SDKs.
- Preferred experience with Agile or Scrum environments and tools such as Jira, Azure Boards, or GitLab; cloud certifications are also preferred.
