Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, write, implement, and maintain software programming applications.
- Build full stack solutions using modern frontend frameworks, backend services, APIs, databases, and software architecture patterns.
- Develop, package, and deploy containerized applications using container orchestration platforms.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Evaluate current architectures and operating environments while identifying system improvements and future enhancements.
- Integrate cloud, security, observability, automated testing, authentication, caching, messaging, and AI capabilities into production applications.
- Complete the required Booz Allen skills assessment during the hiring process.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, including designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software applications.
- Experience with modern compiled and interpreted programming languages.
- Experience with frontend development, modern web stacks, React, Angular, or Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
- Experience with backend services and APIs using technologies such as Spring Boot, .NET, Node.js, Django, gin-gonic, gofiber, or FastAPI.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenShift, or ECS.
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, data modeling, query optimization, and ORMs.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Git CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of software design patterns, microservices architecture, secure coding, debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for access to classified information.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a technology field, or 8+ years of professional experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Terraform, Helm, Ansible, CloudFormation, Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog, Splunk, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, vitest, JUnit, pytest, DevSecOps, SAST/DAST, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, Redis, Memcached, API gateways, RAG, vector databases, embedding models, LLM APIs or SDKs, Agile/Scrum tools, and cloud certifications.
