Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support automation and scripting solutions for network and firewall appliances.
- Build Ansible code for configuring and monitoring network appliances using RESTful APIs.
- Create Python provisioning workflows, including Zero Touch Provisioning and automated device onboarding.
- Develop Flask-based self-service portals and configuration management platforms with JSON REST APIs.
- Troubleshoot and debug code to identify network issues.
- Identify use-cases for automation in network operations.
- Generate reports and graphs from network data.
- Set up logging and monitoring for network devices and create dashboards.
- Create documentation including runbooks and technical guides.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a Network Automation role.
- Strong coding skills in Python, JavaScript, and Bash.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficient in Python with experience in building JSON-based automation workflows.
- Experience integrating secret management systems with Python scripts.
- Knowledge of optimizing Python Flask + PostgreSQL applications for network automation.
- Experience with Jinja2 template-based configuration generation.
- Familiarity with complex enterprise network architecture.
- Solid knowledge of Linux systems management.
- Experience with OpenSource software and service management tools.
- Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP.
- Experience with Aruba, Juniper, and Fortinet equipment is a plus.
