Responsibilities
- Work with customers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and technical approaches for AI operations platform solutions.
- Translate requirements into designs, estimates, scopes, and execution plans.
- Lead execution teams toward on-time delivery while making hands-on contributions to critical work.
- Design, orchestrate, and automate data pipelines and algorithms in cloud, event-driven, and microservices architectures.
- Guide machine learning models and custom analytics for image, video, text, geospatial, time-series, and structured data.
- Conduct customer-site fieldwork and communicate outcomes, opportunities, challenges, and reusable improvements.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in data science, machine learning, computer science, or a related discipline and 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in Python and familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and systems programming languages such as Go, Rust, C++, Java, or Scala.
- Proficiency designing and delivering algorithms, data structures, production analytics, design patterns, and cloud-based systems.
- Experience defining, scoping, planning, and delivering complex technical solutions in production environments.
- Experience with software engineering tools and processes including version control, issue tracking, CI/CD, debugging, and Agile practices.
- Ability to lead, manage, and mentor small cross-functional teams across office, remote, and customer sites.
- Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical internal and external stakeholders.
- Eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a Secret or higher US security clearance.
- US citizenship required.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, horizontally scaled architectures, messaging systems such as NATS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ, AI agents and workflows, complex data types, and secure government environments.
- An active Secret or higher US security clearance is preferred.
