Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software in C/C++ using existing tools.
- Support requirements management, software and systems architecture, design, integration, testing, verification, and validation.
- Develop and evaluate hardware/software interfaces and operational performance requirements.
- Support mission systems integration architecture and customer deployments.
- Perform hardware and software integration and test for complex military systems.
- Support software leadership activities, program meetings, and the full software development lifecycle from requirements flow-down through fielded product support.
- Use test frameworks, software coverage tools, and test automation to support development and verification.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 9 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least 7 years of related experience, or at least 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active Secret U.S. security clearance.
- At least 8 years of embedded development experience and at least 8 years of C++ systems development experience.
- At least 6 years of avionics lifecycle execution experience.
- At least 5 years of safety-critical software development experience with DO-178B or later standards.
- Experience with embedded security, encryption, authentication schemes, network storage, Gigabit Ethernet or InfiniBand, and complex military-system integration and testing.
- Experience with APIs, BSPs, drivers, OpenGL or Vulkan, health and status systems, PTPv2, H.264, and ARINC-818.
- Knowledge of Bash, Python, Intel x86, ARM, FPGA, SoC, GPP, GPU, embedded system design, release engineering, configuration and change management, debug and trace analysis, and real-time operating systems.
- Familiarity with VxWorks, LynxOS, Integrity, SELinux, Linux development environments, software integration, and verification/validation.
- Preferred software leadership experience such as CSWE, IPTL, or CAM experience.

- No immediate travel is expected, though travel to a customer site in St. Louis, Missouri may be required for software leadership program meetings.
