Responsibilities
- Partner with clinical trial teams to design, review, and prioritize trials using Claude, including drafting protocols and statistical analysis plans and identifying enrollment and operational risks.
- Build and validate tools for discovering new uses of approved medicines in rare and neglected diseases using literature, omics, and patient data.
- Create reusable infrastructure, including MCP servers for biomedical data sources, agent skills, and benchmarks based on real clinical questions.
- Embed with partner engineers, scientists, and clinicians and communicate field insights to product, engineering, and research teams.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience designing, running, or analyzing clinical trials or identifying new uses for existing medicines, with deep experience in at least one area.
- Comfort working with biomedical literature, omics, and real-world patient data such as health records, registries, and claims, ideally in secure or trusted research environments.
- Strong engineering skills, including taking an LLM-powered tool from prototype to production and writing evaluations to measure it.
- Experience working directly with external partners or customers in a technical role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including producing documentation usable by other institutions and results trusted by clinicians.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field; experience contributing to a regulatory trial submission is a plus.

- Annual salary of £225,000—£255,000 GBP.
