Senior Backend Software Engineer

Base Salary
$130k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate secure Azure infrastructure for radar systems.
- Develop high-performance backend services for real-time sensor data processing.
- Define infrastructure as code and automate deployments using modern DevOps practices.
- Ensure production systems are secure, scalable, and reliable through observability and monitoring.
- Shape the technical direction of the platform with architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end capabilities.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Person (citizen or permanent resident) for access to controlled technology.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
- Experience with Python and modern backend development is a plus.
- Familiarity with Azure or another major cloud platform is preferred.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Kubernetes, and CI/CD is advantageous.
- Experience with real-time data pipelines or distributed systems is a plus.
