Responsibilities
- Own and drive infrastructure, DevOps, and software engineering initiatives from concept through production.
- Build and extend Kubernetes ecosystems using Go or Python, including custom controllers, operators, admission webhooks, and cloud-native tooling.
- Architect and deliver full-stack internal tools with Vue, React, or Svelte frontends and Go or Python backends.
- Operate multi-region, high-availability infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Pulumi, and Helm.
- Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and build/release systems at scale.
- Use Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana for infrastructure observability.
- Design and build AI-powered DevOps automation, including LLM-powered runbooks, autonomous remediation agents, anomaly detection pipelines, and AI-assisted code or infrastructure review tools.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or software engineering.
- Solid Go or Python coding skills for building and extending Kubernetes ecosystems.
- Experience building full-stack internal tools and integrating modern frontends with Go or Python backends and APIs.
- Experience operating infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and/or Azure.
- Experience with Terraform, Pulumi, and Helm.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to AI-assisted or AI-infused automation in DevOps workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- BS or MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education/experience.
- Preferred: 8 years of relevant experience and a record of independently owning complex systems or initiatives.
- Preferred: expertise designing production-grade Go or Python Kubernetes extensions and multi-region, highly available infrastructure.
- Preferred: experience owning cloud cost, resilience, scaling strategy, reusable IaC modules, organizational IaC standards, and large-scale pipeline architecture.
- Preferred: experience delivering AI-powered DevOps automation and achieving team adoption.
