Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design for new cloud product features in partnership with technical product management.
- Write and implement cross-team engineering proposals and ensure technology decisions align with architecture standards.
- Design, develop, and deploy services using Go, Kotlin, Java, Node.js, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Own cloud services end to end, including distributed-system architecture, zero-downtime deployments, canary releases, frequent deployments, and feature flags.
- Integrate LLMs, MCP, and RAG; create reusable prompt templates and automated evaluation loops.
- Deploy and scale model-serving solutions while optimizing latency and cost.
- Support security, compliance, and infrastructure initiatives involving FedRAMP, PCI, SOC1, and SOC2.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technology-related field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
- Ability to drive product architecture design and communicate solution options to product owners and architecture leadership.
- Ability to write clean, scalable code in Go, Java, Kotlin, Node.js, and other modern programming languages.
- Experience with Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and AWS services including EC2, AMIs, EKS, and Dynamo.
- Extensive knowledge of architecting cloud solutions, preferably on AWS infrastructure.
- Familiarity with software-development compliance frameworks including FedRAMP, PCI, SOC1, and SOC2.
- Practical experience integrating at least one LLM or embedding provider such as OpenAI or Anthropic.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted development tools including Copilot, Cline, and Claude Code.
- Understanding of Continuous Delivery and Observability and ability to provide technical leadership and hands-on solutions to agile teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical product managers, architects, and technical leads across product areas.
