Base Salary

$120k - $146k/yr

Responsibilities

Build and maintain scalable Python backend services using Flask, FastAPI, or similar technologies for data from more than 300,000 IoT devices.
Design and develop REST APIs for internal tools and customer-facing applications.
Build and improve React/TypeScript frontend features and UI components.
Analyze database usage, debug production issues, and create tools for accessing geographically distributed datasets and formats.
Build deployment monitoring and diagnostic tools that provide visibility into system health across geographies.
Collaborate on data persistence formats supporting frontend, middleware, diagnostics, and Deep Learning pipelines.
Debug customer issues across the full stack and support the customer success team with client problems.
Partner with product teams to improve user experience and evaluate requests based on effort and potential value.
Expand unit and integration test coverage, refactor existing code, and help deliver weekly releases.
Present completed work to the company.

6+ years of professional software development experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, Flask, or another backend language.
3+ years of experience with React and TypeScript.
Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs.
Experience with data-intensive applications and/or microservices architecture.
Experience with relational databases such as MySQL.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and applied unit and integration testing.
Ability to work independently and own features end-to-end.
Fluent Polish and advanced written and spoken English.
Flexibility to adjust working hours for a global, time-zone-diverse team, including occasional work outside regular CEST hours.
Strong work ethic and commitment to completing assigned work on schedule.
Preferred experience includes GCP, Grafana, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus, MUI, Tailwind, Node.js, Bash, computer vision, or IoT data pipelines.
