Responsibilities

  • Contribute to designing, implementing, testing, and documenting software components, APIs, and internal developer tools.
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and other partners to translate product needs into technical requirements.
  • Investigate technical issues across services, data flows, dependencies, and user experiences with mentorship.
  • Write maintainable code and unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, Agile planning, and retrospectives.
  • Use logs, metrics, dashboards, and user feedback to evaluate system behavior and improve product quality.
  • Contribute to prototypes and experiments involving AI-assisted workflows, data products, and intelligent developer tools.
  • Communicate findings, tradeoffs, risks, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field, with expected graduation in 2027 or 2028.
  • Proficiency in one or more of Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, C++, C#, or Go.
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented or functional programming, and software design.
  • Experience building, testing, or debugging software through coursework, projects, research, hackathons, open-source contributions, self-directed learning, or prior internships.
  • Familiarity with version control concepts and willingness to learn team-based development practices using Git.
  • Preferred familiarity or interest in cloud services, distributed systems, APIs, databases, data pipelines, event-driven architectures, SQL, data modeling, analytics tools, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery workflows.
  • Preferred curiosity about machine learning, generative AI, large language models, retrieval systems, agents, AI application development, logging, monitoring, tracing, and performance analysis.
  • Preferred interest in CAD, manufacturing, product design, engineering software, or developer platforms.
