Responsibilities
- Design and develop software for OTN, DWDM, SONET, and SDH-based optical transport platforms.
- Architect and implement networking solutions aligned with Open ROADM specifications.
- Develop and maintain embedded networking software using C/C++.
- Work with YANG models for network management and configuration.
- Integrate and debug I2C, SPI, PCIe, GPIO, SerDes, and SGMII hardware interfaces.
- Collaborate with system architects and cross-functional teams during design and integration phases.
- Analyze and resolve complex software and networking issues.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and design decisions.
- Ensure software quality, scalability, and performance for carrier-grade deployments.
Requirements
- Architect-level experience in telecom or optical networking domains.
- Strong programming expertise in C/C++.
- Hands-on experience with DWDM, SONET, SDH, and OTN technologies.
- Strong understanding of Open ROADM specifications and YANG models.
- Experience with I2C, SPI, PCIe, GPIO, SerDes, and SGMII hardware interfaces.
- Strong knowledge of embedded software development and system integration.
- Experience developing carrier-grade optical networking products.
- Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking concepts.
- Familiarity with Linux-based development environments.
- Exposure to network management and orchestration frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
