Responsibilities
- Design and develop highly performant and available distributed systems for the workflow platform.
- Create native integrations that enhance platform workflows and functionality.
- Use an iPaaS to develop and expand integrations.
- Develop internal tooling for the platform.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers on the product roadmap.
- Explore and implement innovative solutions to improve platform growth and efficiency.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with complex and distributed software applications.
- Experience developing robust and scalable applications from scratch.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Understanding of database fundamentals including caching, query optimization, and indexing; PostgreSQL experience is preferred.
- Experience working with APIs, platforms, microservices architecture, and enterprise-grade integrations.
- General familiarity with AWS or another public cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with workflow management systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug large codebases.
- Strong communication skills for documenting and presenting design and implementation ideas.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging technologies.
