Responsibilities

Set technical strategy for the team on a year-long time scale.
Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to manage technical sustainability and risks.
Act as a force-multiplier by defining and advocating for technical solutions.
Ensure team operations and availability through effective monitoring and support processes.
Foster a culture of quality and ownership by setting code review and design standards.
Develop talent on the team through feedback and guidance.
Participate in an on-call rotation as required.

8+ years of experience as a software engineer.
Proficient in backend technologies like Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
Experienced in developing web apps using frameworks like React, React Native, or Vue.
Ability to deliver major features and write high-quality, maintainable code.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and understanding large system architectures.
Demonstrated ability to gather and iterate on feedback from peers.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
