Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand their most important problems and design effective data-driven solutions.
- Own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects in small teams with minimal supervision.
- Discuss architecture with engineers and wrangle massive-scale data.
- Code custom web applications and implement software solutions.
- Communicate with customer executives and establish strategy for the team.
- Collaborate with other Forward Deployed Software Engineers, product teams, Deployment Strategists, and customers, often on site.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong engineering background, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or Data Science.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, front-end frameworks, and related technical tools.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python, Java, C++, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar programming languages.
- Experience or interest in using large-scale data to solve business problems.
- Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed; 25–50% travel is preferred but may vary by team and location.
- Security clearance or ability to obtain a security clearance.
- Fluency in Hebrew.
