Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android client architecture for React Native applications.
- Drive React Native platform development and native integrations using Bridge, TurboModule, and JSI.
- Build and optimize networking capabilities involving HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, long-lived connections, Bluetooth, and USB communications.
- Lead mobile performance improvements covering application startup, rendering efficiency, memory optimization, ANR reduction, and crash prevention.
- Partner with Product, QA, and Engineering teams across regions to design solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver high-quality releases.
- Use monitoring and analytics tools to diagnose runtime issues and support application quality, performance, and stability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java, with foundations in data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Deep understanding of Android Framework internals, including threading models, lifecycle management, messaging mechanisms, and system behaviors.
- Proven experience delivering production-grade React Native applications with Bridge, TurboModule, JSI, and mobile performance optimization expertise.
- Strong networking knowledge and practical experience with HTTP/HTTPS, WebSocket, long-lived connections, Bluetooth, and USB integrations.
- Experience with WebView development and bidirectional communication between H5 and native applications.
- Hands-on experience with Android frameworks and libraries such as OkHttp, Fresco, and local storage solutions.
- Practical experience using DataDog and Firebase for application monitoring, analytics, and runtime issue diagnosis.
- Professional working proficiency in English for technical discussions, documentation, and global collaboration.
- Payment solutions, printer integrations, restaurant technology, or POS systems experience is a bonus.
- Practical C++ project experience and experience building enterprise-scale mobile platforms or supporting mission-critical business applications are bonuses.
