Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Kyte product architecture and features using Go.
- Collaborate with product managers, product owners, designers, and frontend engineers to define and deliver functionality.
- Identify technical debt and refactoring opportunities during feature implementation.
- Establish backend development best practices for component architecture, state management, and testing.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
- Evaluate and introduce backend technology and tooling improvements.
- Develop comprehensive testing routines and procedures.
Requirements
- Professional experience building and maintaining production-grade backend software as part of a product team.
- Prior experience with Go is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience deploying and running applications in the cloud, using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and their use in day-to-day development.
- Strong understanding of software design, APIs, data modeling, and operational concerns.
- Senior software engineering experience in a full stack team, including refactoring, code review, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Willingness to learn new languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Openness to using AI tools to improve productivity and code quality.
