Responsibilities
- Develop server-side web applications using Java and JavaScript.
- Implement web services and applications using REST and AWS.
- Work with server-side frameworks including Node.js/Express/Bookshelf, Scala/Play, Python/Django, or Ruby/Rails.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries.
- Learn and apply emerging technologies such as microservices, Scala, Play Framework, Node.js, and Ember.js.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of software development experience, particularly in Java and web development.
- Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, AWS, and server-side web frameworks.
- Experience with Node.js and/or Scala Play.
- Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, and strong schema and query design is preferred.
- Experience with Bookshelf and Trex is preferred.
