Responsibilities

  • Transform cybersecurity applications into Kubernetes-friendly formats and deploy them in Kubernetes environments hosted on bare-metal platforms.
  • Bridge application development and production environments by advocating best practices and facilitating communication between application and platform teams.
  • Contribute to long-term product vision, strategic planning, and mission-aligned technology evolution.
  • Evaluate products and solution methods, identify process gaps, and contribute insights to the product backlog.
  • Solve highly technical problems spanning multiple knowledge domains.
  • Contribute to open source projects and product repositories.
  • Work with Kubernetes, cloud environments, infrastructure-as-code, continuous delivery automation, GitOps, containers, CNCF projects, Helm, Kustomize, value stream mapping, and cloud-native applications.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Eligible Service members must be within 180 days of separating from Service.
  • Hold or be eligible to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Demonstrate experience contributing to product vision, evaluating solutions, identifying process gaps, and solving complex technical and business problems.
  • Have active participation in open source projects and product repositories.
  • Possess deep knowledge of one or two technologies such as pipelines, GitOps, Kubernetes, or Go.
  • Preferred experience includes Department of Defense work on an Authority to Operate system, DoD Weapon Systems, Program Management Offices, Cyberspace Operations or Incident Response systems, Big Bang, Iron Bank, and C-ATO processes.
  • Possess a DoD 8570 IAT II certification.
  • Know DevSecOps, DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Cybersecurity as Code, automated testing, and compliance-oriented project practices.
  • Have experience with Kubernetes deployment and security, hardware, full-stack development, application transformation, Python, Go, Ansible, and YAML.
  • Be comfortable working on a team following an Agile framework.
