Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end applied machine learning solutions from data scaling through model implementation, training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Develop and deploy deep learning technologies that improve Siri’s intelligence, naturalness, and usefulness.
- Build or advance multimodal LLM, speech generation and understanding, natural language processing and generation, AI agent, and foundation model capabilities.
- Collaborate with research and engineering teams to bring ML research into production.
- Take ownership of complex machine learning problems and contribute to large-scale system improvements.
Requirements
- M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5–7+ years of experience in machine learning.
- Experience developing, training, or tuning large generative models or LLMs.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as JAX and/or PyTorch.
- Proficient programming skills in Python.
- Preferred: experience with reinforcement learning, Speech LLMs or multimodal LLMs, AI agents and LLM deployment, large-scale machine learning training and evaluation, and developing and scaling foundation models.
