Responsibilities
- Lead engineering architecture design reviews using AI-driven insights and system modeling.
- Set a high technical bar through code and architecture reviews, including evaluation of AI-generated code and patterns.
- Mentor engineers in scalable system design and AI-first development practices.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows across the engineering organization.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to create integrated solutions.
- Improve planning and execution through automation, AI tooling, and intelligent workflows.
- Build services meeting high availability and latency standards in a mission-critical environment.
- Use AI systems to improve performance, observability, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience.
- Experience designing and delivering highly available, scalable cloud-based systems.
- Backend service experience with multiple managed languages such as Java, Scala, Go, or C#.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL data stores.
- Experience evaluating and integrating AI-assisted development tools into engineering workflows.
- Strong understanding of applying AI to developer productivity, system design, and operational efficiency.
