Base Salary

$46k - $92k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Provide information for hardware, software, and cloud service provider selection, implementation, migration, and capacity planning.
  • Evaluate cloud and virtualization technologies and perform systems engineering activities including requirements analysis, architecture, design, verification, and integration.
  • Translate product requirements into complete systems solutions while accounting for technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
  • Perform functional analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to develop hardware and software specifications.
  • Gather system requirements with application architects and owners.
  • Generate scripts and templates for automated provisioning of resources.
  • Install and use standard cloud services and processes for effective cloud provider utilization.
  • Build software for organizational systems and as-a-service offerings.
  • Debug technical issues involving virtualization, containers, and complex software stacks.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in and pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Knowledge of cloud strategy and program architecture.
  • Knowledge of system requirements gathering in collaboration with application architects and owners.
  • Ability to generate scripts and templates for automated resource provisioning.
  • Ability to discover, install, and use standard cloud service offerings.
  • Ability to build software for organizational systems and as-a-service offerings.
  • Ability to debug technical issues involving virtualization, containers, and complex stacks.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future.
  • A 3.0 GPA is preferred but not required.
  • Previous Systems Engineering internship experience is preferred.
