Base Salary
$190k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale backend systems.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Work with product managers and stakeholders to implement features addressing product and customer needs.
- Prioritize work and develop systems from the ground up in ambiguous problem domains.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute team leadership.
- Deliver high-quality projects consistently.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience with a proven track record of shipping successful projects.
- Experience building large-scale systems in a cloud-native environment, preferably AWS.
- Strong command of at least one programming language, preferably Go and/or Java.
- Experience developing and maintaining high-quality codebases and delivering challenging projects on schedule.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
- Ability to collaborate and compromise to reach efficient outcomes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to align cross-functional stakeholders on goals and deliverables.
- Fintech experience is preferred.
- Ability to work with high autonomy in a fluid environment is preferred.
